Jamie Carragher absolutely blitzed Daniel Sturridge in a football quiz, but fans reckon he used underhanded tactics to do so.
The ex-Liverpool defender was joined by his former Reds team-mate on Monday Night Football (MNF) earlier this week, and they took each other on in a quick-fire quiz ahead of the broadcast. The pair were shown two club badges, which represented a particular Premier League transfer, and the first person to name the player involved would receive a point.
Carragher won 6-4 in the end, though viewers accused him of intentionally "chatting s***" when he didn't know an answer in order to distract Sturridge while waiting for the answer to pop into his head.

"I love how Carra just chats s*** in between ones he doesn't know to distract them, then pops up with the answer," one X user wrote while replying to the clip of the quiz Carragher uploaded. The former centre back didn't deny it either, responding with a wink emoji and a laughing emoji.
Fancy a go yourself? Here's a list of the transfers they had to guess (answers are at the bottom of the page):
- Feyenoord to Arsenal (£3.5m)

Ajax to Liverpool (£22.8)

Carragher has taken on Sky Sports colleague Gary Neville on in similar quizzes a number of times this season, and so far has never lost. Sturridge's impressive performance in the quiz was followed by an equally impressive punditry performance on MNF.
Fans were waxing lyrical about him during the broadcast. One said: "Can't believe how good Sturridge is as a pundit. So intelligent." Another wrote: "Sturridge is amazing. So insightful but also very funny. Sign him up permanently Sky!"
