Manchester United go in search of a vital first win in this season’s Champions League against Copenhagen as they look to keep their knockout stage hopes alive.

Erik ten Hag’s side fell to a dramatic 3-2 home defeat against Galatasary last time out to make it two defeats from two and remain rooted to the bottom of Group A.

United are unbeaten in their four home games against Danish opposition in the competition but will face a stern test against a Copenhagen side who drew against Galatasaray before falling to a narrow, late defeat at home against Bayern Munich.

Here’s everything you need to know about the fixture, plus all the latest betting tips here.

What is the team news?

Casemio’s red card in United’s previous group stage game against Galatasaray means the Brazilian midfielder is suspended for this game. He joins a host of longer-term absentees with Lisandro Martinez, Jadon Sancho, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw all missing the game. There may well be a return for Sergio Reguilon at left-back as the Spaniard continues his recovery from a minor hamstring niggle.

Copenhagen left-back Birger Meling went off in the Danish side’s win over Vejle on Saturday and will be unavailable for Tuesday’s clash. Wiliam Clem, Noah Sahsah and Nicolai Boilesen remain out of contention for Jacob Neestrup’s side but they will be able to welcome back Elias Jelert after serving his suspension for a red card.

Predicted line-ups

Man United: Onana; Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Reguilon; Amrabat, McTominay; Antony, Fernandes, Rashford; Hojlund.

Copenhagen: Grabara; Jelert, Diks, Vavro, Sorensen; Goncalves, Falk, Claesson; Achouri, Larsson, Elyounoussi.
