WWE legend and British export Paige has hinted she could make a surprise return at the Royal Rumble .
A serious neck injury forced the 27-year-old to retire from wrestling back in April 2018.
Since her retirement, the Norwich-born star has held non-wrestling roles within the franchise.
After a stint as General Manager on SmackDown, Paige managed tag team duo, the Kabuki Warriors, and now is often seen on studio show WWE Backstage.
However she has now teased a potential return to the ring, ahead of the Royal Rumble event on January 26.
Paige – real name Saraya-Jade Bevis – has recently signed a fresh five-year contract with WWE.
And according to PWInsider (via the Sun ) there is every chance she could be ready for a comeback.
They state: “Paige is back on WWE Backstage this week. She has been teasing something big for her career on social media.
“After her last neck procedure, the biggest thing would be a surprise appearance in the Royal Rumble but there’s no word if that is happening.”
Former Divas champion Paige tweeted on January 3: "I have a whole lot of career left in me. 2020 will be a good year for me."
The Women's Royal Rumble match is taking place for only the third time, following its debut in 2018, and will see 30 competitors battle it out for a shot at the World Championship at Wrestlemania 36.
Among the entrants are 10-time WWE women's champion Charlotte Flair, who is so far the only confirmed participant.
The men's event has seen more stars announce their involvement, although this year's edition has a plot twist.
