WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre are set to compete in the main-event match of WrestleMania 36. McIntyre earned his first world title shot since his return to WWE in 2018 after winning the Men’s Royal Rumble Match last January.
The Scottish Terminator will get the chance to make history as a win over Lesnar at Mania would make him the first ever British world champion.
And WWE seem to have major plans for the WWE Championship Match as they have booked it as the headline attraction for this year’s Show of Shows.
Corey Graves and Peter Rosenberg confirmed during the WrestleMania Kick-off show that the two heavyweight stars would close the event.

British fans will be glad to see McIntyre competing in the main event, although it will not take place the way the Scotsman hoped it would as no fans will be present to see him attempting to make history for his country.
WWE were supposed to stage the Showcase of the Immortals at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida but plans changed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Vince McMahon’s promotion moved the event to the Performance Center in Orlando where they taped the entire event behind closed doors as a safety precaution.
The wrestling giants undertook rigorous safety measures as they limited the amount of people allowed during filming and wouldn’t let anyone into the PC without undergoing a medical check first.
WWE aired the first part of WrestleMania on Saturday night and featured a series of entertaining matches inside the empty venue.
Braun Strowman defeated WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg for the Universal Championship, Becky Lynch retained the RAW Women’s Championship by beating Shayna Baszler and The Undertaker destroyed AJ Styles in the inaugural Boneyard Match.

WrestleMania concludes tonight with a series of star-studded matches as Edge will battle Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing Match.
John Cena will return to action to go one-on-one with Bray Wyatt in a Firefly Fun House Match and Bayley will put her SmackDown Women’s Championship on the line against four other competitors.
WWE have also filmed the next RAW as well as SmackDown episodes but it is uncertain what will happen with the next few shows.
Sport has been suspended around the world until further notice due to the coronavirus pandemic ever since last month.
