Undertaker vs AJ Styles WrestleMania 36 clash linked with gruesome finish after WWE change

The Undertaker and AJ Styles are going to face off in a Boneyard Match at WrestleMania 36, which will see one of them getting buried alive. Styles and Undertaker have been at each others’ throats ever since Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia when the legendary wrestler returned and deprived the high-flyer of the Tuwaiq trophy.

I’m gonna bring back The Deadman, I’m gonna bring back The Deadman in a match that he would love to be in, right in his wheelhouse. A Boneyard Match

The Phenomenal One then challenged Taker to a match at WrestleMania and has since been taking some personal jabs at his foe and his wife Michelle McCool.

The two-time world champion claims The Deadman is nothing but a shadow of his old self and McCool is responsible for destroying his career.

That is why the ex-WWE Champion challenged him to a Boneyard Match, which is synonymous to his rival’s success, hoping that he will get the real Undertaker at Mania.

The stipulations are understood to be the same as a Buried Alive Match, which means one of the two stars will be put in a six-foot-deep grave and covered with dirt.

Styles said on RAW: “I want The Undertaker from yesteryear, that’s who I want. And he’s nowhere to be found.

Rumours suggest Undertaker may compete under a different gimmick at WrestleMania after his recent appearance at the Performance Center.

The seven-time world champion may dump his demonic and supernatural gimmick of The Deadman and opt for something closer to his biker persona dubbed The American Badass.

WrestleMania will be taped on Wednesday and Thursday at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida and will then air on April 4 and 5 as a two-night event on the WWE Network.

The Show of Shows moved from the Raymond James Stadium where it was supposed to emanate from due to the coronavirus pandemic and that is why the event will take place behind closed doors.
