Ronda Rousey confirms WWE retirement with WrestleMania message on Total Divas

Ronda Rousey seems adamant that she is done with professional wrestling as she described her most recent WrestleMania 35 match as the “climax” of her WWE career.

Rousey hasn’t been seen since WresteMania in April where she suffered her first ever loss to Becky Lynch in the inaugural all-women’s main event in the Show of Show’s history, which also included Charlotte Flair.

The Baddest Woman on the Planet’s future in Vince McMahon’s promotion has since been uncertain but the UFC Hall of Famer has just cast some serious doubt over a return to the wrestling giants on social media.

The Rowdy One promoted the upcoming episode of the hit reality TV series Total Divas, which will cover her historic match at Mania.

#WrestleMania is finally here and I’m ready to go out in flaming glory!!! Don’t miss the climax of my @WWE career on @totaldivas

The first ever UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion said she went out in “flaming glory” that night which she describes as the “climax” of her WWE career.

Rousey tweeted: “#WrestleMania is finally here and I’m ready to go out in flaming glory!!! Don’t miss the climax of my @WWE career on @totaldivas.”

This comes after another recent episode of Total Divas where the MMA hero revealed her plan to step back from WWE and have a child with her husband Travis Browne.

The 32-year-old fighter expressed her desire to concentrate on her home and family even though she loves the business.

Rousey said: “I made a decision about my future and life and everything.

“I’m gonna do everything that I can to bring a spotlight to the women’s evolution. Then, I’m gonna go have a baby.

“In a strange way, I feel like my job is done.”

Rousey, though, has been mentioned a lot on WWE programming especially after her friend and NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler was booked in a fight against RAW Women’s Champion Lynch and Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley ahead of Survivor Series.

WWE Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative Triple H has also claimed that she will be coming back “sooner rather than later”.

This comes after Rousey has teased that she misses the business with a series of videos on her official YouTube channel.
