Fantasy football fanatics have been left raging after FPL announced all points from the abandoned Bournemouth vs Luton fixture will be voided.

The Premier League confirmed the match, which was halted around the 60th minute on Saturday (December 16) when Luton captain Tom Lockyer suffered a cardiac arrest, will be replayed in full later in the season.

As a result, FPL chiefs followed suit by voiding the fixture altogether in their game – wiping out the points which had been gained, including Dominic Solanke's potential nine-pointer.

That decision infuriated those who own the Bournemouth striker in their team. One argued: "FPL should reimburse people that took a -4 to get Solanke. B******s to this."

Another fumed: "So not only did I lose -4 for Solanke, I also lost 9 points he got and now everyone will buy him for the DGW. Talk about a robbery, putting an asterisk on this season."

And a third slammed: "Absolute drivel. By this logic, we should get back our FT that we used to get Solanke in. Bro literally scored a goal."

A fourth asked: "Can I have my transfer back then?" While a fifth bemoaned: "March points last season, Solanke this season. We just got robbed again."

Solanke had cancelled out Elijah Adebayo's early opener at the Vitality Stadium shortly before Lockyer collapsed on the pitch for a second time this year following his health scare at the Championship play-off final in May.

He'd picked up six points by that stage and was set to receive three bonus points, although that could've changed before full-time.
