England have handed former Southampton director of performance Mark Jarvis a lead role ahead of their Euro 2024 campaign.<\/p>\n
Jarvis has been appointed the FA’s new head of performance – a key position within Gareth Southgate’s England set-up.<\/p>\n
The fitness and medical guru started his role in October and will now be at the forefront of preparations for the national team’s forthcoming European Championship campaign in Germany – a tournament England head into as favourites.<\/p>\n
Jarvis’s arrival comes as part of a wider shake-up at the national football centre in St George’s Park in recent months.<\/p>\n
Head of Performance Bryce Cavanagh – who has been part of England’s previous three tournaments – and performance colleague Ben Rosenblatt left earlier this year.<\/p>\n
