Niklas Sule pulled off a stunning goal line clearance to deny Kylian Mbappe a goal after the Paris Saint-Germain winger had gone through on goal during their Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Bundesliga outfit came into the match top of Group F, with the Parisians trailing them by three points.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A win would see PSG go through to the knockout stages of the tournament, and their World Cup winning star could have put them a goal up, but for the heroics of Sule.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It was a lovely move from the away side, with Lucas Hernandez playing a stunning long pass up to Mbappe.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Initially, Sule appeared to lose Mbappe under the long pass, with the 24-year-old collecting the ball, turning and advancing towards the penalty area.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It came after Mbappe had received a long ball from the PSG defence, breaking away from Sule before rounding Gregor Kobel to go through on an open goal<\/p>\n
Dortmund goalkeeper\u00a0Gregor Kobel advanced out of his net to meet the Frenchman, but Mbappe tapped the ball to his left, weaved past the keeper and set himself up in front of an open net.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He struck a low left footed shot towards the goal, but Sule, who had backtracked around 25 yards, slid in and stopped the shot with a spectacular last-ditch effort.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It was a sensational piece of defending, with the German international crashing into the back of the net, before standing up to receive an embrace from his team-mate, Mats Hummels.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Should PSG have scored, the goal may have been pivotal in their hopes of securing a berth in the knockouts, with Newcastle going 1-0 up against AC Milan to go level on points with the Parisians, and climb into the second qualification spot on goal difference.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It was a sensational block from the Dortmund star who tracked back 25 yards to stop Mbappe’s shot<\/p>\n

While Borussia Dortmund sit top of Group F and look set to qualify, PSG need a win to ensure they advance<\/p>\n
Luis Enrique’s side had asked questions of Dortmund early on, having nine attempts on goal during the match, with\u00a0Bradley Barcola coming close, hitting the post in the opening 20 minutes of the match.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Randal Kolo Muani also had a great chance to score in the first half, after he was played in by Mbappe, but the Frenchman was unable to hit the target after going one-on-one with the goalkeeper.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Matts Hummels also went close for the opposition before half-time, heading a close-range effort narrowly wide of the goal.\u00a0<\/p>\n
PSG were dealt a huge blow after half-time, with\u00a0Karim Adeyemi scoring to put the hosts 1-0 up.\u00a0<\/p>\n
But the visitors hit back soon after, with\u00a0Warren Zaire-Emery firing into the bottom left-corner to make it 1-1.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
