Mason Greenwood is settling into life in Spain as he continues his season-long loan at Getafe from Manchester United. And while speculation over Greenwood’s future beyond next summer ramps up, a permanent La Liga stay looks feasible as interest in his signature reportedly grows.

United are believed to have made their mind up on the 22-year-old’s future, and will look to generate a transfer fee before his contract expires in 2025.

Greenwood has been getting back up to speed overseas after 16 months away from the pitch, helping Getafe creep into the top half of the La Liga table.

He’s registered four goals and three assists in 13 appearances for the Madrid-based outlet and is said to have been monitored by several heavyweights during his return.

According to 90min, Greenwood is happy with life in Spain after moving with his family and is pleased with how his comeback has gone so far.

The report adds that Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Real Madrid are among the European giants to have watched him in action this season.

It’s claimed that Bundesliga sides Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have also been keeping tabs on Greenwood’s development.
