Listen to It&#8217;s All Kicking Off<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Simon Jordan has hit out at the lack of characters in Manchester United&#8217;s squad, claiming this is the only reason their dressing room hasn&#8217;t turned toxic yet.<\/p>\n<p>The Red Devils slipped to their 11th defeat of the season on Saturday when they were beaten 3-0 at home by Bournemouth.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>United midfielder Scott McTominay admitted ahead of tonight&#8217;s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich that the dressing room has turned toxic in the past but insisted the players remain fully behind under-fire manager Erik ten Hag.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan believes this is likely to be the case, but only due to United&#8217;s player not having &#8216;the balls&#8217; to stir up trouble.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I don&#8217;t think they have the character to have a toxic dressing room,&#8217; he told talkSPORT on Tuesday. &#8216;I don&#8217;t think they have the balls to have it. McTominay&#8217;s coming out and saying the right thing. His performance on Saturday was abject after his performance earlier on in the week was very commendable.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I don&#8217;t disagree with him. I don&#8217;t think this group of players has the balls or the character to be able to create a toxic dressing room. I just think they&#8217;re all a weak version of what Manchester United require.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Despite his fierce criticism of United, Jordan still feels they have a chance of progressing to the knockout stages of the Champions League by beating Bayern tonight.<\/p>\n<p>Ten Hag&#8217;s men must beat the German giants and hope for a draw in the other group game between Copenhagen and Galatasaray to progress.<\/p>\n<p>Bayern have already qualified for the last 16, and Jordan thinks they may have taken their eye off the ball which could open the door for United, but he doesn&#8217;t think they deserve to get out of their group.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bayern Munich have just been beaten 5-1 so they&#8217;ve obviously got their minds distracted by other things. They don&#8217;t deserve to go through this group. There&#8217;s nothing about Manchester United&#8217;s performance in this group that you think &#8220;that&#8217;s admirable&#8221;.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;They&#8217;ve got away with one in the home game against Copenhagen, they&#8217;ve got beaten away by Copenhagen, they&#8217;ve got beaten by Galatasaray, they got their heads handed to them in the most one-sided 4-3 game you could possibly imagine in Bayern Munich, and they&#8217;ve got a group of players that in my view are not befitting of the people that have gone before at\u00a0Man United.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;If Munich fancy it then see you later, Man United.
