Andrew Gibbons will combine with leading Newcastle trainer Kris Lees when travelling to Tuesday\u2019s Tamworth meeting where the pair have two leading chances.<\/p>\n
Gibbons will link with Lees when odds-on favourite Naahro contests a maiden plate over 1600 metres, while they will also be in action together when She\u2019s Got Teeth runs in a super maiden handicap over 1200 metres.<\/p>\n

There was a lot to like about the performance and when she went back to Scone for her second run back, I thought she would just go there and win.\u201d<\/p>\n Naahro started as a heavily backed $1.70 favourite on that occasion and again had to settle for a second placing.<\/p>\n \u201cI was disappointed in the fact that he didn\u2019t win, but in saying that he just seemed to hit a flat spot when I wanted him to sprint,\u201d Gibbons said.<\/p>\n \u201cIt took him a while to wind up, but once he did, he hit the line well again. Kris has elected to step him up in trip to the 1600m at Tamworth and that should suit him now. It\u2019s a race he gets his chance to break through in.\u201d<\/p>\n Gibbons is yet to ride She\u2019s Got Teeth in a trial or a race, but the jockey thinks she is in a race that suits at her first run back from a spell.<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s only had the five starts, but she has been placed in two of them, including a third at Newcastle,\u201d said Gibbons.<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s had two trials to prepare for her return, so Kris will have her ready to run well. She\u2019s drawn wide but with any luck she should be somewhere around the mark.\u201d<\/p>\n Gibbons has two other rides at Tamworth in the shape of Waydie for Sue Grills in the a maiden plate over 1000 metres and Miss Nicolini for Craig Martin in a Benchmark 58 Handicap (1400m).<\/p>\n
