The teams around us have been in these positions for years and are so experienced.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We are the newbies. Can we keep it up? I don\u2019t know. We\u2019ll see. Hopefully. They are a top quality team so their manager adjusted a few things. Did it work? Maybe, maybe not.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2018They had a lot of the ball but not too many clear-cut chances. We\u2019ve kept a clean sheet against the two best teams in the league in my opinion and it\u2019s another huge win.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Emery\u2019s men also saw two debatable calls go their way. Douglas Luiz was not punished for making contact with Gabriel Jesus inside the box early in the second half, while Kai Havertz\u2019s late strike was ruled out for handball \u2013 with the decision upheld after a lengthy VAR check.<\/p>\n<p>Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta \u2013 who was in the stands serving a touchline ban \u2013 hinted at frustration with those decisions, saying he had a \u2018big opinion\u2019 on them. Yet when asked to elaborate, Arteta added only: \u2018Clear and obvious. That\u2019s all I can say.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We were the better team and deserved more. We can\u2019t demand much more from the team but we lacked accuracy in the box.
