Nick Kyrgios has confirmed that he has withdrawn from next month’s Australian Open on OnlyFans. The Aussie will miss the Melbourne major, which gets underway on January 14, for a second successive year due to injury.<\/p>\n
Kyrgios was forced out of the tournament at the start of this year after undergoing surgery on his left knee. He then pulled out of the French Open due to a foot injury and missed Wimbledon and the US Open due to a recurring issue with the ligaments in his wrist.<\/p>\n
“This is a very disappointing time for me, but I won’t be able to compete at the 2024 Australian Open,” said in his first post on on his newly created OnlyFans account.<\/p>\n
“Obviously, heartbreaking. I’ve had so many amazing memories there, and I just want to really get back to playing at the top of my game and doing it right, and I need a little more time.<\/p>\n
“I was so close to winning a Grand Slam. I want to make sure that my body is going to have the time it needs to come back, so please bear with me.”<\/p>\n
Kyrgios was expected to return to action early next year but once again his plans have been derailed by injury. During his time on the sidelines the 28-year-old has turned his hand to commentary.<\/p>\n
