He&#8217;s been the best since Brian Clough &#8211; It&#8217;s All Kicking Off\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wolves sporting director Matt Hobbs has been given a one-match ban after being accused of an X-rated rant at referee Anthony Taylor following his side&#8217;s 2-2 draw with Newcastle last month.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Gary O&#8217;Neil&#8217;s men were forced to settle for a point against the Magpies at Molineux on October 28 in a game that saw the visitors take the lead through Callum Wilson, before Mario Lemina netted an equaliser.<\/p>\n<p>On the stroke of half time, Wilson had put Eddie Howe&#8217;s men ahead again from the spot in controversial circumstances after it was ruled that Hwang Hee-chan had fouled Newcastle&#8217;s Fabian Schar following a VAR review.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Wolves went on to secure a point thanks to Hee-chan&#8217;s leveller in the second half &#8211; but Hobbs was still fuming with officials and is said to have vented his frustration at referee Taylor as he left the pitch.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor&#8217;s incident report from the game claims Hobbs walked past him in the tunnel area before telling him he was &#8216;absolutely f***ing useless as usual&#8217;, as reported by the Athletic.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/29\/18\/78386775-0-image-m-24_1701284172297.jpg\" height=\"425\" width=\"306\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/29\/18\/78386867-0-image-a-23_1701284132161.jpg\" height=\"425\" width=\"306\"><\/p>\n<p>Wolves chief Matt Hobbs has been banned for one match after reportedly calling Anthony Taylor &#8216;f***ing useless&#8217; last month<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/29\/18\/78386941-0-image-a-25_1701284188807.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Hobbs was fuming after Newcastle were awarded a contentious penalty in their 2-2 draw<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>Hobbs was then allegedly summoned to Taylor&#8217;s dressing room, where the referee told him his words were unacceptable.<\/p>\n<p>Then after being informed that he would be reported for his comments, Hobbs is claimed to have said: &#8216;We look forward to your apology again,&#8217; before walking out.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Hobbs has not disputed the charges, according to the Mirror &#8211; who claim the director told Taylor he was &#8216;just a fan&#8217; when asked who he was initially.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The FA have charged Hobbs with a breach of Rule E3.1, which punishes comments &#8216;about match officials which imply bias, attack the officials&#8217;
