She started much faster than last time out.\u00a0The 37-year-old was looking to get in close and throw quick combinations. While Cameron was looking to utalise her jab.<\/p>\n<p>However, there was cause for concern when Taylor hit the canvas in the opening round. The silence around the arena was alarming but\u00a0 thankfully for the Irish fans, the referee ruled out a knockdown and stated the Bray Bomber had simply slipped.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor came flying out of the corner in the second round, setting the intensity from the opening bell and looking to engage from close quarters. The Bray Bomber landed a lovely right hand before Cameron responded with a powerful hook.<\/p>\n<p>Both fighters exchanged a couple of blows after the bell and stared each other down before making their way back to their respective corners. There&#8217;s no denying there is bad blood between the two.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cameron &#8211; who was looking to dominate the centre of the ring &#8211; sustained a nasty cut in the third round of their bout, with the fight being temporarily stopped so the doctor could check whether she was fit to continue.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cameron&#8217;s cut was checked again before the fifth, with both women going to war shortly after. Cameron&#8217;s trainer Jamie Moore could be heard calling for the uppercut &#8211; which Il Capo tried to deliver.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, the British star was growing frustrated with the Bray Bomber for clinching and signaled to the referee to do something.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/25\/23\/78237781-12790969-image-a-13_1700956029652.jpg\" height=\"433\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Taylor was looking to engage at close quarters, while Cameron was looking to use her jab<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/25\/23\/78237761-12790969-image-a-12_1700955951403.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Cameron sustained a nasty cut to her forehead and had to be checked by the doctor<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/25\/23\/78237789-12790969-image-a-14_1700956087884.jpg\" height=\"431\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The doctor felt Cameron was okay to continue, much to the British star&#8217;s delight<\/p>\n<p>After the fight, Taylor made it clear Saturday night was her &#8216;real homecoming&#8217; and called for the trilogy to take place at Croke Park &#8211; causing the fans inside the 3 Arena to erupt into cheers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Bray Bomber said: &#8216;Oh my gosh. two weight undisputed champion, that sounds very nice! That was the longest six months of my life waiitng. This is my real homecoming.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Whoever wrote me off doesn&#8217;t know very well. Don&#8217;t ever doubt me. The last fight you saw the worst of me and the best of Chantelle and it was still a close fight. Tonight you saw the real me and nobody can beat me.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Let&#8217;s get the triolgoy at Croke Park!&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Taylor went on to speak about Cameron, she said:\u00a0&#8216;It takes two to tango. Chantelle is a phenomenal champion and deserves everything she gets. She&#8217;s a legend herself. Two legends could form the first trilogy in women&#8217;s boxing,&#8217; Taylor adds.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;You learn the most from your losses. That&#8217;s where growth happens.
