{"id":298015,"date":"2023-11-24T10:24:37","date_gmt":"2023-11-24T10:24:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tellmysport.com\/?p=298015"},"modified":"2023-11-24T10:24:37","modified_gmt":"2023-11-24T10:24:37","slug":"ex-wimbledon-finalist-is-accused-of-filming-his-model-ex-girlfriend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tellmysport.com\/tennis\/ex-wimbledon-finalist-is-accused-of-filming-his-model-ex-girlfriend\/","title":{"rendered":"Ex-Wimbledon finalist &apos;is accused of filming his model ex-girlfriend&apos;"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Former Wimbledon finalist David Nalbandian &#8216;is accused of filming his model ex-girlfriend when hidden camera was found in her bedroom&#8217;<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Argentine star David Nalbandian was one of tennis&#8217; elite players in the 2000s<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>He was in a relationship with Araceli Torrado from September 2022 to June 2023<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Nalbandian reportedly filmed Torrado with a hidden camera at her flat\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Former Argentine tennis star David Nalbandian &#8211; who reached the Wimbledon final in 2002 &#8211; has been accused of secretly filming his ex-girlfriend after they split.<\/p>\n<p>Nalbandian, 41, was one of the sport&#8217;s elite stars in the 2000s, rising to as high as world No 3 in March 2006.<\/p>\n<p>He won 11 singles tournaments and along with his appearance in the Wimbledon final 21 years ago when he lost in straight sets to Lleyton Hewitt, Nalbandian also reached the semi-final at least once in the other three Grand Slams.<\/p>\n<p>However, according to German outlet BILD, Nalbandian is now embroiled in a scandal with his former partner Araceli Torrado, 29.<\/p>\n<p>The report claims the Argentine &#8211; who was in a relationship with Torrado between September 2022 to June 2023 &#8211; installed a camera in the apartment the couple lived in in Palermo, Italy, after their split to continue monitor her.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/24\/08\/78189909-12786679-image-a-5_1700815764314.jpg\" height=\"717\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Former Argentine tennis star and world No 3 David Nalbandian (left)\u00a0has been accused of\u00a0 secretly filming his ex-girlfriend after they split<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/24\/09\/78191861-12786679-image-a-2_1700819183247.jpg\" height=\"794\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Nalbandian, 41, was in a relationship with Argentine model Araceli Torrado for almost a year<\/p>\n<p>When Torrado&#8217;s brother visited the flat, he reportedly noticed a bizarre glow behind an air shaft before removing the cover and finding the camera.<\/p>\n<p>The camera was installed in Torrado&#8217;s bedroom, leaving the model and influencer in shock.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The horror was indescribable: He not only watched me, but could also see me naked!&#8217;, the report claims she said in the indictment.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She had originally reported Nalbandian to police immediately, but a lack of evidence saw the charges dropped.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/24\/08\/78190019-12786679-image-m-9_1700816043547.jpg\" height=\"566\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Torrado was left horrified that the secret camera in her bedroom had been installed<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/24\/08\/78190275-12786679-image-a-10_1700816126867.jpg\" height=\"923\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The camera was found by Torrado&#8217;s brother on a visit and it was set up behind an air shaft<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/24\/08\/78189945-12786679-Nalbandian_pictured_in_2012_is_now_reportedly_facing_charges_of_-a-15_1700816300587.jpg\" height=\"450\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Nalbandian (pictured in 2012) is reportedly facing charges of stalking and sexual harassment<\/p>\n<p>However, Torrado and her lawyers persisted and showed audio recordings and messages which allegedly led to Nalbandian admitting to filming her.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Argentine newspaper La Nacion report that in a voice message the former tennis star allegedly said: &#8216;Do you want me to be honest?
