{"id":297455,"date":"2023-11-19T11:24:13","date_gmt":"2023-11-19T11:24:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tellmysport.com\/?p=297455"},"modified":"2023-11-19T11:24:13","modified_gmt":"2023-11-19T11:24:13","slug":"kieran-trippier-has-left-the-england-squad-due-to-a-personal-matter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tellmysport.com\/soccer\/kieran-trippier-has-left-the-england-squad-due-to-a-personal-matter\/","title":{"rendered":"Kieran Trippier has left the England squad due to a &apos;personal matter&apos;"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Kieran Trippier leaves the England squad for personal reasons ahead of trip to North Macedonia&#8230; but the Newcastle star is still set to play against Chelsea next week<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Newcastle had 11 first-team players injured or suspended against Bournemouth<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>England defeated Malta 2-0 on Friday night thanks to a goal from Harry Kane\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Aaron Ramsdale&#8217;s dad has every right to support his son &#8211; It&#8217;s All Kicking Off\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Kieran Trippier has left the England squad for a &#8216;personal matter&#8217;, Newcastle United have reported.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The England star is not injured, however, and he is expected to be ready to play against Chelsea\u00a0next week, according to the Athletic.<\/p>\n<p>It comes as England prepare to face North Macedonia in their UEFA Euro Qualifier on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The Three Lions defeated Malta 2-0 on Friday night thanks to goals from Harry Kane\u00a0and an own goal from Pepe.<\/p>\n<p>England had already qualified for next year\u2019s finals in Germany and victory over Malta ensured they will win Group C.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/19\/10\/77983947-12767437-image-a-29_1700391235114.jpg\" height=\"677\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Kieran Trippier has withdrawn from the England Euro qualifier squad due to &#8216;personal matters&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/19\/11\/77984173-12767437-image-a-39_1700391993792.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Trippier featured for the Three Lions in their 2-0 home win against Malta on Friday night<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>News that Trippier is not injured will be welcomed by\u00a0Eddie Howe\u00a0whose\u00a0Newcastle side are currently going through an injury crisis at the moment.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For their last Premier League game against Bournemouth, the Magpies had 11 first-team players unavailable due to injury and suspension.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>During that match, Fabian Schar and Sean Longstaff\u00a0played on through injuries while Miguel Almiron was forced off with a hamstring issue.<\/p>\n<p>Howe will hope some of these injured players will return for their huge match against Chelsea coming up.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span>Midfielder Bruno Guimaraes will return after the international break at least, providing he doesn&#8217;t pick up any issues while on international duty with Brazil.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>But it is not looking good for Newcastle who, after Chelsea, travel mid-week to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
