They also play&#8217; she has opened up on her own account of that time, having learned of the accident through her sister, Maca.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/17\/16\/77938227-0-image-a-89_1700240119677.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Sergio Rico endured a shock horse-riding accident earlier this year going into a 22-day medically-induced coma<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/17\/16\/77938257-0-image-a-90_1700240156326.jpg\" height=\"460\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>His wife (right) Alba Silva revealed that the accident was one of the &#8216;worst moments of my life&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/17\/16\/77938253-0-image-a-92_1700240299909.jpg\" height=\"793\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Rico paid tribute to Silva on leaving hospital in Sevilla thanking her for her support throughout the ordeal<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;It&#8217;s amazing how life can change your life in a matter of seconds,&#8217; he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She added: &#8216;When I got there I found Sergio on the ground and I got nervous. They didn&#8217;t let me get close to him. We went behind because they wouldn&#8217;t let me go with him.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;In the ambulance and we went to the mobile hospital unit that they had set up in El Roc\u00edo. The only thing I wanted to think was that it hadn&#8217;t been that serious.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;They called us doctors because there were complications. I don&#8217;t want to remember it because they were the hardest moments of my life. My soul was in suspense.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Although she was informed by medical professionals that her husband could be facing a fight for his life, she was confident that she would not be left without him.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After his arrival at the hospital he underwent surgery for a suspected brain aneurysm, and was also put into a medically-induced coma for 22 days.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Following the injury, tributes were paid to Rico by his PSG team-mates, with a giant tifo of his shirt passed around the Parc des Princes by the Parisian crowd.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I feel quite well,&#8217; Rico told reporters outside the Seville-based hospital on his releas.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/17\/16\/74474623-0-Sergio_Rico_was_discharged_following_his_remarkable_three_month_-a-91_1700240192834.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Rico was discharged following his remarkable three-month recovery from life-threatening injuries<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/17\/17\/77938225-0-image-a-103_1700240468043.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>A giant tifo bearing his name and shirt number went round the Parc des Princes after his injury<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I wanted to say a few words to thank my family and my wife. I wanted to thank the football world that has sent me messages of support.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Everyone who has stopped for a minute to give me support, I thank them.
