What a difference a day can make in the Premier League.<\/p>\n
After climbing to sixth in the standings following a hard-fought 1-0 win at home to promoted Luton, Manchester United are ready to make a charge on the title. At least that's if you believe some fans of the club currently earning flak online after talking up the odds of a march on the crown for Erik ten Hag & Co.<\/p>\n
The Red Devils just about saw the Hatters off at Old Trafford on Saturday thanks to Victor Lindelof's decider on the hour mark. And despite Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and Aston Villa all being ahead in the table, one disciple is convinced this is the beginning of a rise from the ashes.<\/p>\n

"Manchester United fans, we\u2019re in the title race and don\u2019t let anyone convince you otherwise," wrote the supporter in question on X (formerly Twitter). "Only small clubs like Chelsea aren\u2019t in the title race, we are just six points off first and part of the fight. May 19th, 2024. We will be there."<\/p>\n
It's somewhat difficult to believe considering it was only a fortnight ago they were pummelled at home by reigning champions City. And that was the first of two consecutive 3-0 losses at Old Trafford after Ten Hag's side exited the Carabao Cup at Newcastle's hands only a few days later.<\/p>\n

Brentford are the only other team in the Premier League's current top 10 they've managed to beat, suffering defeats against City, Arsenal, Spurs and Brighton already.<\/p>\n

It's also worth mentioning the gap to the summit will actually be nine points should Pep Guardiola's men beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Not to mention the fact United have recorded more defeats (five) than any other team in the Premier League's top eight.<\/p>\n
