Korean pop stars\u00a0STAYC were invited to a tour Rangers’ stadium after the group mistakenly wore a retro club kit during a gig in Dallas last month.<\/p>\n
The six-piece girl group had attempted to win\u00a0over the crowd during the US leg of their World Tour.<\/p>\n
STAYC,\u00a0pronounced Stacey, planned to wear the kit of local baseball team Texas Rangers, who were playing in Major League Baseball’s World Series.<\/p>\n
A mix-up instead saw the group appear on stage in a shirt from Glasgow Rangers 1996\/97 season, worn by legends such as Paul Gascoigne and Brian Laudrup as the club won their ninth league title in a row.<\/p>\n
STAYC trimmed down the McEwan’s Lager sponsored shirt in the style of a crop top.<\/p>\n

South Korean pop stars STAYC were invited on a tour of Ibrox stadium by Rangers on Monday\u00a0<\/p>\n

The group went viral for wearing a retro Rangers kit in Dallas rather than the Texas Rangers<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
STAYC were joined on the tour of the stadium by the Rangers supporting band\u00a0Saint Phnx<\/p>\n

The mix-up went viral on social media, with one fan claiming\u00a0‘Rangers are the kings of K-Pop.’<\/p>\n
Rangers invited the group to Ibrox following the mix-up, ahead of the group performing in London on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
The group members\u00a0Isa, Seeum, Yoon, J, Sumin and Sieun were uploaded a dance inside the stadium on TikTok, accompanied by Rangers mascot\u00a0Broxi Bear.<\/p>\n
STAYC also greeted fans in a meet and greet arranged by the club at\u00a0Edmiston House.<\/p>\n
The K-Pop stars were pictured in Rangers shirts with the number 23 and STAYC printed on the back.<\/p>\n
STAYC had joined the group Saint Phnx, formed of brothers\u00a0Alan and Stevie Jukes, while on the tour of Ibrox.<\/p>\n
Saint Phnx are Rangers supporters and released the song ‘Make Us Dream’ ahead of the 2022 Europa League final.<\/p>\n
STAYC thanked Rangers for the invitation on X, formerly Twitter, with the group uploading photos from first team changing room which showed the current and retro kits.<\/p>\n

‘Thank You Glasgow SWITH & Rangers FC Fans,’ STAYC posted on social media, adding a video which showed a large crowd of cheering fans.<\/p>\n
STAYC will not return to performing with the group appearing at Korea On Stage in London on Wednesday, with the event taking place at Wembley Stadium.<\/p>\n
The group, which was formed in 2020, are currently on their first World Tour titled ‘TEENFRESH’.<\/p>\n
