Jamie O'Hara has slammed Ange Postecoglou's 'criminal tactics' after Tottenham played a high-line with nine men against Chelsea.

Ange Postecoglou stuck to his principles and told his side to stay pushed up the pitch despite Christian Romero and Destiny Udogie seeing red either side of the break. Chelsea had numerous chances to punish them but left it late before Nicholas Jackson's hat-trick made it 4-1.

Although Jamie Carragher loved what he saw on Monday Night Football, talkSPORT pundit and former Spurs man O'Hara has torn into the Aussie manager for not entering a defensive mindset.

Speaking on a talkSPORT watch-along with ex-Chelsea forward and West Ham legend Carlton Cole, O'Hara fumed as Chelsea finally took the lead: "I don't know what we're doing… I DON'T KNOW WHAT WE'RE DOING!

"It's just Micky Mouse defending. It's only a matter of time that players are going to figure out that you're playing so high that you're just going to play a ball down the side of you.

"It's not rocket science to just say sit in, sit in and have two banks of, what a four and four, we're staying on the half-way line they're passing the ball about… late run and they're going to get in. I'm just praying for an offside."

The rant coincided with Chelsea getting another chance on the break after taking the lead. And the former midfielder threw a string of cushions as Cole began to laugh.

O'Hara then added on X: "Please someone explain to me why we played a high line with 9 men on the pitch, absolutely criminal defending and tactics." Although Spurs ended up on the wrong side of a hammering thanks to Jackson's late show, it didn't tell the full story.
