Manchester United duo Harry Maguire and Christian Eriksen showed their true colours on Saturday afternoon as they consoled injured Fulham ace Rodrigo Muniz. The Red Devils pair attempted to comfort the Fulham player as he limped off the pitch in tears during the second half.<\/p>\n
Muniz was handed his first Premier League start after scoring in Fulham\u2019s Carabao Cup victory over Ipswich on Wednesday. And he showed moments of energy as Fulham and United cancelled each other out for virtually the entire match.<\/p>\n
Disaster struck for the 22-year-old, however, when he was forced off with an injury 14 minutes from the end as Carlos Vin\u00edcius came on to replace him. And the problem appeared to be severe as the Brazilian striker was in floods of tears as he made his way off the pitch.<\/p>\n
Maguire quickly noticed Muniz\u2019s distress and imparted some words of encouragement as he caressed the player\u2019s head as the duo found themselves next to each other. And Eriksen also reached out to the South American.<\/p>\n
