the statement reads.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/03\/23\/77386779-0-A_Fiorentina_fan_group_has_called_for_their_Serie_A_match_agains-a-31_1699055018988.jpg\" height=\"425\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>A Fiorentina fan group has called for their Serie A match against Juventus on Sunday to be cancelled<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/03\/23\/77385737-0-image-a-32_1699055026920.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>It comes as devastating storms have struck the Tuscany area in recent days, with reports stating that six people have passed away in the storms<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/03\/23\/77385973-0-image-a-33_1699055033864.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>At present the game is set to go ahead as planned but supporters group\u00a0Curva Fiesole has urged officials to postpone the game claiming: &#8216;Part of our city is completely on its knees&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Houses are destroyed, lives in tatters and while it continues to rain people think of playing the game on Sunday as if nothing had happened.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;In a clear, decisive and categorical fashion, the Curva Fiesole ask that the match be postponed, so that the energy and resources are dedicated exclusively to our people who are struggling and not to put on a sporting event.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;We demand respect or the victims, their families, for those who have lost everything in just a few hours and now feel abandoned, without light or electricity, surrounded by water.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Storm Ciaran has caused widespread damage across western Europe, forcing 190 people to evacuate their homes in Florence with concerns that the famous\u00a0River Arno may flood the city.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Pictures of the devastation show the streets of the city have been flooded with water, while trees have been blown over and cars have become submerged due to the unparalleled rainfall.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The fan group also states that it has been working\u00a0to help those affected by the flooding, collecting provisions and equipment, including gloves, spades and buckets to help clean-up efforts.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, Mayor\u00a0Nardella said, according to Calico Mercato: &#8216;To date there are no plans to postpone the match &#8211;
