Largie Ramazani's bold decision to leave Manchester United is paying dividends with his name now written into LaLiga history.<\/p>\n
The 22-year-old winger raised eyebrows when he opted not to sign a new contract at Old Trafford at the end of the 2019\/20 season having impressed in their youth ranks and made his senior debut in a Europa League tie.<\/p>\n
United claimed it was due to excessive wage demands, but Ramazani wanted regular first-team minutes – which he found by making the drop down to the second tier of Spanish football, signing for Almeria.<\/p>\n

Eight goals in his second year helped them earn promotion to the top flight, and they avoided relegation by a point last season. A tough start to the new campaign sees them languishing bottom of the table with just three points from 11 games.<\/p>\n
But Ramazani continues to be a shining light in the side and became the first-ever LaLiga player to record a hat-trick of assists in a 3-3 draw with Granada last month. His club performances have also seen him rack up eight appearances for Belgium's Under-21s.<\/p>\n

While some players may be dreaming of a move away in his situation, especially given his three years with the Red Devils, Ramazani is committed to helping Almeria get out of the hole they find themselves.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to help the team and show that I am a first-division player,\u201d he told his club's media team in September, via Mundo Deportivo. "I have the capacity to do better. <\/p>\n

"I don\u2019t have any preferred position. What I want is to play and help the team as much as possible. I want to become a legend at Almeria."<\/p>\n
He believes they'll turn things around, adding: \u201cI feel good, happy and confident. It is true that we have not started the league well, but we have done many things well. <\/p>\n
"There are details to correct, and we are working on it. We are not worried because there is a lot left, we have a good squad, and we are going to show our true level of play soon."<\/p>\n
