as he distances himself from the role and calls on under-pressure Matthew Mott to be given more time<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>England have endured a disastrous World Cup campaign with just one victory<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>White-ball coach Matthew Mott has come under significant pressure as a result\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>World Cup-winning captain Eoin Morgan had been touted to take on the role\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Eoin Morgan has distanced himself from the England white-ball coach&#8217;s job and says Matthew Mott should be given more time.<\/p>\n<p>England are on the verge of crashing out of the World Cup after losing five of their six matches so far to sit bottom of the table.<\/p>\n<p>After the defending champions&#8217; latest defeat &#8211; against hosts India on Sunday &#8211; former one-day captain Morgan said the players were &#8216;definitely unsettled&#8217; and &#8216;there&#8217;s something else going on, there has to be&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Liam Livingstone has since insisted there are &#8216;no rifts in the camp&#8217;, while Sky Sports pundit Morgan played down talk he could replace Australian Mott, who signed a four-year deal when appointed in May 2022, saying: &#8216;It&#8217;s a bit far-fetched.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on Sky Sports, he continued: &#8216;I was very clear in what I thought might be a cause to the performance the England team have produced in this World Cup, because nobody in the changing room &#8211;
