before club made decision to part ways with failing manager<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Ajax club management and Maurice Steijn have agreed to go separate\u00a0ways\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Ajax had one of their worst starts to a season in history and are second bottom<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Steijn wanted coach Hedwiges Maduro and player Steven Berghuis removed\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Maurice Steijn reportedly wanted to remain in charge of Ajax, but only if the club got rid of\u00a0Hedwiges Maduro and Steven Berghuis.<\/p>\n<p>Ajax confirmed on Monday that they parted ways with head coach Steijn after their horrendous start to the season which leaves them second bottom of the league.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement on Monday, the Dutch giants announced that Steijn had agreed to step down with immediate effect.<\/p>\n<p>And De Limburger claim the manager made a late demand that two men who &#8216;stabbed him in the back&#8217;
