Minor details are being ironed out between the Glazers and Ratcliffe, who has asked for total control of footballing operations, with the deal expected to be confirmed in the coming days.<\/p>\n

After his INEOS group bought Ligue 1 side Nice in 2019, Ratcliffe considered offering Ten Hag, who had recently been appointed Ajax boss, the manager's job. An approach was never actually made, but Ratcliffe continued to monitor Ten Hag's progress, according to The Independent<\/i>.<\/p>\n
Ratcliffe is prepared to be patient with the 53-year-old and intends to work closely with him during the upcoming January transfer window. But if things go awry and the axe does indeed swing, it's understood Sir Jim will consider former Chelsea boss Graham Potter as a possible replacement.<\/p>\n
