Tottenham reclaimed their place atop the Premier League by beating Fulham on Monday, but one spectator among the crowd may not have been all that excited.

And some eagle-eyed members of the home support might have noticed a certain attendee wasn't celebrating as vigorously as the rest. Not that ex-Arsenal attacker Andrey Arshavin has much reason to rally behind Ange Postecoglou's phenomenal work in charge of his old rivals so far this season.

The diminutive Russian was among the thousands at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as goals from Son Heung-min and James Maddison saw Spurs to a 2-0 win over Fulham. And Arshavin documented his journey into enemy territory after catching the overground to get up close and personal with his former enemies.

The Saint Petersburg native is five years into his retirement after hanging up his boots at Kairat in 2018. However, some Gunners may take umbrage with how he's spending his spare time after rocking up at the home of his old nemeses.

Arshavin, 42, went undercover with a Louis Vuitton beanie and glasses as he seemingly sought to avoid attention in his north London return. Not that it worked on everyone, with one tongue-poking train traveller apparently figuring out his secret identity.

And some Spurs supporters may have even been glad to see the former Premier League star, who became Arsenal's record signing when he joined from Zenit in 2008 for a fee of £15million. Despite impressing during his four years on the books in north London, however, Arshavin's record against Tottenham was patchy at best.

The winger won only one of his five meetings with Spurs (excluding extra-time) and scored a solitary goal in 223 minutes facing Arsenal's derby foes. He was an unused substitute in his last three squads he made against Tottenham, who are now two points clear of Mikel Arteta's men at the Premier League summit.

That being said, the former forward's social media is still flooded with football content as he maintains a keen interest in his field.

And Tottenham fans will more than likely be all too happy to host him again considering just how conclusive Monday's London derby win was. Perhaps Arsenal could do with a little of that good fortune themselves after having to come from behind to draw 2-2 at Chelsea on Saturday.
