We wanted to share some truly exciting news about our stadium project,&#8217; the message began.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;After many positive meetings with Queens Community Board 7, local stakeholders and residents, elected officials, labor unions and more, we\u2019re excited to inform you that today, our stadium project, alongside the entire second phase of the Willets Point development, has officially entered the Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP) approval process, bringing us one HUGE step closer to seeing our dream realized of building a permanent home for NYCFC!&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;As a reminder, ULURP is the process that proposed development projects in New York City go through that engages the local community and grants approval to begin construction. The ULURP process is time-restricted, meaning the entire approval process is designed to take no longer than 7 months.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Today, the Department of City Planning presented our project to the City Planning Commission at a CPC review session.
