Manchester United fans were sent into a frenzy on Wednesday night after bearing witness to a stunning goal from Rasmus Hojlund during Denmark training.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Hojlund, 20, has enjoyed a bright start to life at Old Trafford since making his \u00a372million move in the summer and recently scored both goals during their 3-2 defeat to Galatasaray in the Champions League.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Red Devils supporters will be hopeful that the Dane can help fire them back up the table as the season progresses, following their sluggish start to the campaign.\u00a0<\/p>\n
And, perhaps, they were offered a glimpse of that after a clip of Hojlund scoring in Denmark training went viral on social media on Wednesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In the video, Hojlund can be seen receiving the ball with his back to goal, with Brentford\u00a0defender Christian Norgaard tightly marking him.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Despite being heavily pressured by the Bees star, Hojlund holds him off with ease before firing off a superb backheel effort into the back of the net.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Danish national team took to their Instagram page to share the clip and it didn’t take long for jubilant Man United fans to share their take on the matter.<\/p>\n
‘We might have a new Van Nistelrooy in our hands reds’, one user boldly claimed.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Another commenter, on X, labelled the former Atalanta forward as an ‘unreal talent’ after watching the training clip.\u00a0<\/p>\n
One fan was quick to bring in Hojlund’s youthful nature, as they said: ‘His confidence to do stuffs like this at his age!’.<\/p>\n
‘Forget his finishing, his hold up play is top notch’, another fan noted as they reacted to the video.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Lastly, one user shared an image of Hojlund in United kit before captioning it ‘Our own Star boy’.<\/p>\n
In his six Premier League outings, Hojlund is yet to find the back of the net for United however has three goals in two matches in the Champions League.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Prior to his brace against Galatasaray last week, the Dane managed to get on the scoresheet as United fell to a disappointing 4-3 defeat to Bayern Munich.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The 20-year-old joined up with Denmark during the international break as his national side prepare for Euro 2024 qualifiers against Kazakhstan\u00a0and San Marino.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Denmark currently sit second in Group H with 13 points from their six games, with Hojlund having scored six goals in qualifying.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fans were quick to heap praise on the Danish striker after watching the clip on social media<\/p>\n

There are hopes that Hojlund will become one of Denmark’s great players later in his career<\/p>\n
Recently,\u00a0Brentford boss <\/span>Thomas Frank\u00a0claimed that he hopes\u00a0<\/span>Hojlund can follow in the footsteps of <\/span>Christian Eriksen\u00a0and the Laudrup brothers in becoming one of football’s great Danes.<\/span><\/p>\n ‘I know he is not playing for Brentford, but I am Danish and I’m happy to see Danish players coming through and doing well,’ said Frank, whose side faces United today at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n ‘I must say he was impressive against Galatasaray, two very good goals, he looks like he is in a very good place and hopefully we can keep him quiet on Saturday.<\/p>\n ‘It is a fine balance for me.
