His dedication and work ethic was evident throughout his time in B9 and he will always be welcomed back to St. Andrew\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;A new First Team Manager will be announced in the coming days who will be responsible for creating an identity and clear \u2018no fear\u2019 playing style that all Birmingham City teams will adopt and embrace.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The Club will be issuing no further comment at this time&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Eustace&#8217;s sacking comes with the Blues sitting sixth in the Championship table after 11 games.<\/p>\n<p>The 43-year-old took charge in summer 2022 and led the club to comfortable survival against a backdrop of financial uncertainty.<\/p>\n<p>He has now overseen a promising opening to the first season under the club&#8217;s American owners &#8211; which includes NFL great Tom Brady.<\/p>\n<p>Eustace appeared particularly emotional after the third goal in the 3-1 over West Bromwich Albion.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/09\/10\/76327791-12610079-Rooney_has_been_linked_with_replacing_Birmingham_boss_John_Eusta-a-28_1696845541211.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Eustace departs Birmingham despite the club sitting sixth in the Championship table\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/09\/11\/76298999-12610079-Wayne_Rooney_is_the_clear_frontrunner_to_become_Birmingham_City_-a-34_1696846109584.jpg\" height=\"425\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Rooney confirmed that he believes it&#8217;s the &#8216;right time&#8217; for him to leave MLS side DC United<\/p>\n<p>Rooney, meanwhile,\u00a0announced his departure from Washington on Saturday night. He said: &#8216;I think it&#8217;s just the right time. I&#8217;ve done everything I can to try and get the club into the playoffs. It&#8217;s not been a single thing which has happened. It&#8217;s about timing in your career.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I&#8217;ve really enjoyed my time here. I&#8217;ve had a lot of great help from the owners&#8230; I just feel like it&#8217;s the right time for me to go back to England, first to obviously see my family. I haven&#8217;t seen them for a long time.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;And then, what lies ahead? Whether opportunities come up? I&#8217;ve seen a lot of reports in the media. I don&#8217;t have anything lined up.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I&#8217;m going back there to see my family.
