Given they fired Scott Parker last season after only four matches, Iraola\u2019s prospects don\u2019t look great.<\/p>\n<p>Everton suffered a setback with Idrissa Gueye pulling up in the warm-up but it mattered little as they took the lead after eight minutes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/07\/16\/76278415-0-image-a-1_1696692061633.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Everton ended their long wait for a home win as they thrashed winless Bournemouth 3-0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/07\/16\/76278421-0-image-a-2_1696692067678.jpg\" height=\"433\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Midfielder James Garner opened the scoring inside eight minutes with a low finish past Neto\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/07\/16\/76278425-0-image-a-3_1696692072099.jpg\" height=\"415\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Jack Harrison doubled Everton&#8217;s lead with a stunning long-range strike on his first start\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>The goal was entirely self-inflicted from Bournemouth\u2019s point of view. This time, Abdoulaye Doucoure\u2019s pass to Dominic Calvert-Lewin didn\u2019t fall quite right for the striker who was a thorn in Bournemouth&#8217;s side all afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The Cherries looked like a team still trying to adapt to their new Spanish manager. Their only decent opportunity of the first half came when Dominic Solanke\u2019s shot into the side-netting.<\/p>\n<p>The last time Everton scored three at Goodison was back on October 22 last year when they beat Crystal Palace 3-0 under Frank Lampard.<\/p>\n<p>Sensing an opportunity to end that dismal run, Dwight McNeil went close with a low drive while Neto had to dive to stop Doucoure\u2019s half-volley.<\/p>\n<p>Iraola tried to stay positive, clapping in encouragement after Milos Kerkez had a dig after series of good passes, but Everton extended their lead with a touch of class after 37 minutes<\/p>\n<p>Neto came outside his six-yard box to punch out a cross and when the ball fell to Harrison, he showed terrific composure from 25 yards.<\/p>\n<p>After initially shaping up to have a blast, he showed great touch to lift his finish over Neto with enough finesse for it drop into the net via the underside of the bar.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not often this season you could describe Everton as rampant but they looked it approaching half-time with Calvert-Lewin hitting the bar from Ashley Young\u2019s cross and denied by Neto&#8217;s boot after a mazy dribble.<\/p>\n<p>Bournemouth introduced Joe Rothwell at half-time and Luis Sinisterra soon after but Everton remained dominant.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/07\/16\/76279105-0-image-a-16_1696693627281.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Abdoulaye Doucoure sealed the win as he rifled in a rebound after Harrison&#8217;s header<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/07\/16\/76279183-0-image-a-17_1696693924957.jpg\" height=\"464\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Bournemouth remain winless and in the relegation following their latest defeat on Saturday<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/07\/17\/76279711-12605295-image-m-19_1696695175169.jpg\" height=\"507\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Bournemouth boss\u00a0Andoni Iraola will be fighting for his future after the club&#8217;s poor start\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Doucoure\u2019s finish lacked the power to beat Neto after being set up by Calvert-Lewin but he made up for it with Everton\u2019s third goal after an hour.<\/p>\n<p>Dwight McNeil\u2019s cross was met by Harrison\u2019s header and though Kerkez scrambled across to clear off the line Doucoure rifled in the rebound.<\/p>\n<p>Even then there was little response from Bournemouth as 38,000 Bluenoses enjoyed a rare afternoon of relative comfort.<\/p>\n<p>The Cherries didn\u2019t have a shot on target until they were two goals behind.
