Newcastle defender Dan Burn has revealed three very interesting football shirts he has framed at home – and they are\u00a0not who you would expect.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Playing their first Champions League at home in 20 years, the Magpies marked the occasion in style as they thrashed Paris Saint-Germain 4-1 on Wednesday night to move top of Group F with four points in two games.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Following the game, Burn – who also scored in the match – was asked\u00a0if any of his fellow teammates managed to snag Kylian\u00a0Mbappe’s shirt to which he replied: ‘I’m not sure, you’ll have to ask.’<\/p>\n
He then added:\u00a0‘It’s funny with shirts nowadays though, you can just go on YouTube and see that you’ve played against them so I haven’t asked for anyone’s shirt.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘I’ve got a cracking collection… I’ve got Peter Crouch’s,\u00a0Per Mertesacker\u00a0and Wayne Routledge as one of the only three ones I’ve got. I’m happy – get them framed on the wall.’<\/p>\n

Many Newcastle players were said to have scrambled at the full-time whistle to get Mbappe’s shirt\u00a0<\/p>\n
Miguel Almiron became the first Newcastle player to score in the competition since Shearer scored against Inter Milan at the San Siro as he put the hosts in front with less than 20 minutes gone.<\/p>\n

The Newcastle legend shared a picture of himself having a pint with former Newcastle midfielder Rob Lee ahead of the game and was then in the stands at St James’ Park.<\/p>\n

Burn said he has the shirts of Peter Crouch, Per Mertesacker and Wayne Routledge framed at home<\/p>\n
Speaking on commentary, Jermaine Jenas noted that his former Newcastle teammate looked emotional as the final whistle went.<\/p>\n
Up until tonight, Newcastle had last tasted victory in the Champions League on 26 26 February 2003, when they beat Bayern Leverkusen 3-1 at St James’ Park with Shearer scoring a hat-trick.<\/p>\n
