Dan Burn says he is waiting to be woken from a dream after the former Newcastle season-ticket holder scored on his Champions League debut during the 4-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain.<\/p>\n
The defender, who worked in Asda as a teenager, headed his hometown team\u2019s second goal on a night that will go down in Geordie folklore.<\/p>\n
Burn said: \u2018I\u2019ve had a very up and down career. I was released by Fulham at 25, so to be playing Champions League now, it\u2019s like a dream, like I\u2019m waiting for someone to wake me up. Ever since I have come here, the upward trajectory, it is almost like waiting for the bubble to burst.\u2019<\/p>\n
Eddie Howe\u2019s side were magnificent from the off and rattled the French champions with their aggressive pressing.<\/p>\n
\u2018We had to unsettle them and our crowd helped us do that,\u2019 said the head coach. \u2018It was an amazing evening, so many stories in the game itself, but first and foremost, I\u2019m delighted for the supporters.<\/p>\n
