Erik ten Hag retains the full support of Manchester United\u2019s board, who believe he is the right man for the job at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

The Dutchman has overseen a disastrous start to the campaign, that has seen the club lost six of their last ten matches.<\/p>\n
The last of those defeats came in a 3-2 defeat against Galatasaray at Old Trafford on Tuesday night, when United twice led.<\/p>\n
With zero points in the Champions League and just nine from seven matches in the Premier League, the pressure is mounting on Ten Hag.<\/p>\n
But that pressure is external, with the Guardian reporting that the board fully back Ten Hag in the long-term.<\/p>\n
The board sympathises with the severity of United\u2019s injury list this term \u2013 which at one point saw United without 12 first-team players.<\/p>\n

Sofyan Amrabat was twice exposed against Galatasaray, with the Moroccan being forced to play as a left-back in the absence of Luke Shaw, Sergio Reguilon and Tyrell Malacia. <\/p>\n
Rasmus Hojlund arrived at the club with an injury, while Mason Mount was ruled out for a month on his second appearance in a United shirt.<\/p>\n
Ten Hag has also had to deal with a number of off-field issues, including the Mason Greenwood saga, domestic abuse allegations aimed at Antony and Jadon Sancho refusing to apologise for claiming he was being victimised by the Dutchman. <\/p>\n
United take on Brentford at Old Trafford before the international break, which Ten Hag is likely to welcome in order to get some players back from injury. <\/p>\n
