Brooks Koepka’s wife quickly put the disappointment of the USA losing the Ryder Cup behind her by partying with the winning European team on Sunday night.

The Americans had arrived in Italy as the holders but had no answer for the team ethic of their hosts over the first two days of play and despite a gutsy comeback attempt on the final day, a 16 1/2 -11 1/2 home win ensured that America’s failure to win in Europe will now be extended to 34 years at least.

Despite the humbling defeat, Jena Sims wasn’t prepared to leave the eternal city without enjoying herself to the maximum and the model happily partied with the European team at a post-tournament party, where she mingled with the opposition on the dance floor.

Sims, who married Koepka in 2022, posted a short clip on Instagram of the five-times major champion busting a few moves of his own, with the caption “The hype man always”, before she followed up with a video taken from the dancefloor as Luke Donald’s team partied into the night.

Ireland’s Shane Lowry can be seen leading the celebrations as Donald’s team drinks from the cup on a busy dance floor. Sims simply captioned the video @rydercupeurope with a trophy emoji.

The gathering danced to ‘Sweet Dreams’ by the Eurythmics at what appeared to be a joyous celebration.

Koepka and Sims tied the knot in the beautiful Caribbean in June 2022 and are now expecting their first child. The couple have appeared on the Netflix golf documentary ‘Full Swing’, during which Koepka explains how he struggled to overcome a slump in form following surgery.

After sitting out the morning foursomes session on Friday, he earned half a point in the after four balls alongside world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler.

But when the same pairing was sent out for foursomes on Saturday morning, they were blown away by the Scandinavian pairing of Viktor Hovland and rookie Ludvig Aberg through only 11 holes. Koepka and Scheffler’s 9&7 defeat was the heaviest loss in the history of the Ryder Cup.

Former world No. 1 Koepka did redeem himself by winning his singles match against Aberg on the final day but it could not prevent the USA from crashing to yet another overall defeat on European soil.

Koepka was the only player at the Ryder Cup to represent the Saudi-backed LIV Golf tour.
