Richard Keys claims Liverpool star WAS onside as Jamie Carragher calls the decision a &#8216;f*** up&#8217;&#8230; while Gary Neville questions why VAR made the decision to disallow the goal so quickly against Tottenham<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Luis Diaz&#8217;s opener was controversially ruled out for offside against Tottenham\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>FOLLOW LIVE: Tottenham vs Liverpool in the Premier League\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Mail Sport&#8217;s new WhatsApp Channel: Get the breaking news and exclusives here\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Richard Keys believes that Liverpool star Luis Diaz was onside for his disallowed goal against Tottenham, while Sky Sports pundits Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville have questioned why the decision was made so quickly.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Reds thought they were ahead at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday evening, but the flag went up as Diaz ran in on goal before converting.<\/p>\n<p>However, a replay showed the decision to be tighter than it first appeared, with many questioning whether the Colombian was indeed offside.<\/p>\n<p>Liverpool were later reduced to ten-men in the first half as Curtis Jones saw red, while Son Heung-min gave Spurs the lead.<\/p>\n<p>It was level going into the break, with Cody Gakpo finding an equaliser on the verge of half-time.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/30\/19\/76017871-0-image-a-35_1696097209152.jpg\" height=\"377\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Richard Keys (left) and Andy Gray (right) blasted the speed of the VAR call<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/30\/19\/76017875-0-image-a-36_1696097243965.jpg\" height=\"503\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Luis Diaz was flagged offside and the VAR check appeared to be rushed against Tottenham<\/p>\n<p>Going into the break, there was plenty to talk about, and pundits from across the globe have had their say on the incident.<\/p>\n<p>Reacting to it live, Neville said:\u00a0&#8216;What a finish. Brilliant play. He might just be off. He&#8217;s just offside. Outstretched leg of Romero was back behind his body but not enough for Diaz or Liverpool.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Despite this, Neville changed his opinion going into the second period as he questioned why the decision was made so quick.<\/p>\n<p>This follows Sky&#8217;s pundits Andros Townsend and Jamie Redknapp questioning why no lines were drawn when the decision was made by VAR.<\/p>\n<p>Former Liverpool star Carragher took to X to add his opinon: &#8216;When it takes this long for an answer from @FA_PGMOL over a contentious decision you know there\u2019s been a f**k up! &#8216;<\/p>\n<p>BeIN Sports duo Andy Gray and Keys blasted the VAR assistant as Gray said: &#8216;There you go. He&#8217;s at least a meter onside.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Keys backed up his colleague as he said: &#8216;Why didn&#8217;t Darren England at VAR take his time to look at that? I do not buy that it keeps the game moving. It&#8217;s absolute nonsence.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0&#8216;It shouldn&#8217;t take any time. We can see by the naked eye that it&#8217;s onside.
