{"id":292553,"date":"2023-09-29T16:19:15","date_gmt":"2023-09-29T16:19:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tellmysport.com\/?p=292553"},"modified":"2023-09-29T16:19:15","modified_gmt":"2023-09-29T16:19:15","slug":"tyson-fury-and-oleksandr-usyk-sign-contracts-for-undisputed-title-fight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tellmysport.com\/boxing\/tyson-fury-and-oleksandr-usyk-sign-contracts-for-undisputed-title-fight\/","title":{"rendered":"Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk sign contracts for undisputed title fight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/tyson-fury.png\"><\/p>\n<p>Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk have signed contracts for their undisputed heavyweight title showdown in Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n<p>The fight to crown the division\u2019s first undisputed champion since Lennox Lewis 24 years ago collapsed in dramatic fashion in March this year.<\/p>\n<p>But in a dramatic breakthrough, a deal has now been agreed with the fight set to take place on 23 December or in January at the Kingdom Arena.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018This is the biggest fight that could possibly be made in our sport,\u2019 Fury\u2019s promoter Frank Warren said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The heavyweights always spark the imagination of the fans and I have no doubt this will be the biggest boxing event of the century.
