His absence on Wednesday means he has missed four of his last five games.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;It wasn&#8217;t prudent for him to play, not even to consider him for a few minutes,&#8217; Martino said after the final.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;We will go match-by-match and see where the medical department can give us the okay.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/28\/05\/75921001-12569449-image-a-32_1695874260649.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Lionel Messi watched from the stands as Inter Miami lost the US Open Cup final<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/28\/05\/75921999-12569449-image-a-33_1695874372131.jpg\" height=\"339\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Tata Martino told reporters he had to be careful with Messi but he hopes to have him back soon<\/p>\n<p>Martino said that his team have been feeling tiredness in recent weeks after playing so many games.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I saw a worn team, the consequence of so many matches,&#8217; he said. &#8216;If this match went into extra time, the match Inter Miami has on Saturday would have to be played by the technical staff.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;At some point we were going to see the consequences of so many games.
