{"id":292256,"date":"2023-09-27T12:21:15","date_gmt":"2023-09-27T12:21:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tellmysport.com\/?p=292256"},"modified":"2023-09-27T12:21:15","modified_gmt":"2023-09-27T12:21:15","slug":"ramos-was-victim-of-burglary-while-playing-in-champions-league","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tellmysport.com\/soccer\/ramos-was-victim-of-burglary-while-playing-in-champions-league\/","title":{"rendered":"Ramos &apos;was victim of burglary while playing in Champions League&apos;"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Sergio Ramos &#8216;was victim of a shocking home raid while playing with Sevilla in the Champions League&#8217; as burglars &#8216;terrorised the defender&#8217;s four children before leaving with luxury watches and jewellery&#8217;<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The defender was reportedly victim of a home raid while playing for Sevilla\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Crooks are said to have bypassed security and terrorised his four children\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>They stole jewellery and watches while Ramos played in the Champions League<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Former Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos was reportedly the victim of a horrifying home raid while he was away on Champions League duty with Sevilla last week.<\/p>\n<p>The 37-year-old, who has amassed a career collection of 28 trophies as a player, was playing against French side Lens in the premier European competition when crooks broke into his house, according to the Sun.<\/p>\n<p>The thieves bypassed the footballer&#8217;s alarm system at his house in the\u00a0La Alegria country estate in Andalusia, southern Spain, before &#8216;terrorising&#8217; his four young children, who had been looked after by two nannies &#8211; but were all left unharmed.<\/p>\n<p>Ramos&#8217; wife, journalist Pilar Rubio, was not present in the property as she was away working.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The crooks ended up leaving with luxury watches, jewellery, designer clothes and cash, the report adds, with police opening an investigation into the incident.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/27\/11\/75887145-12566103-image-a-8_1695811391050.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Sevilla defender Sergio Ramos was reportedly the victim of a shocking home raid last week<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/27\/11\/75886749-12566103-image-m-10_1695811519978.jpg\" height=\"712\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The burglars are said to have &#8216;terrorised&#8217; Ramos&#8217; four children, who were being looked after by two nannies. His wife Pilar Rubio (pictured) was away with work commitments<\/p>\n<p>Ramos had only just recently signed for Sevilla &#8211; his boyhood club where he started his career in 1996 &#8211; after leaving French side PSG on a free transfer.<\/p>\n<p>And he and his family had only just moved to their property in Bollullos de la Mitacion, a city located near Seville.<\/p>\n<p>Ramos and his wife Rubio began dating in 2012 before getting married in June 2019.<\/p>\n<p>He becomes the latest footballers to be targeted by robbers in Spain in recent years.
