{"id":292156,"date":"2023-09-26T16:35:47","date_gmt":"2023-09-26T16:35:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tellmysport.com\/?p=292156"},"modified":"2023-09-26T16:35:47","modified_gmt":"2023-09-26T16:35:47","slug":"laliga-president-reveals-confidence-over-mbappe-move","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tellmysport.com\/soccer\/laliga-president-reveals-confidence-over-mbappe-move\/","title":{"rendered":"LaLiga president reveals confidence over Mbappe move"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>LaLiga chief Javier Tebas confident Kylian Mbappe will join Real Madrid next year&#8230; insisting it is the PSG star&#8217;s\u00a0 &#8216;destiny&#8217; to move to the Santiago Bernabeu<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Mbappe has been involved in a long-running transfer saga with Real Madrid<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The French World Cup winner could join the Spanish giants on a free next year\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Mail Sport&#8217;s new WhatsApp Channel: Get the breaking news and exclusives here<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>LaLiga president Jabier Tebas is confident that Kylian Mbappe will be a Real Madrid player next season.<\/p>\n<p>The Paris Saint-Germain star has been involved in a long-running transfer saga with the Spanish giants stemming back a number of seasons.<\/p>\n<p>Mbappe rejected a move to the Santiago Bernabeu by signing a jaw-dropping \u00a3650,000-a-week contract with PSG in May 2022.<\/p>\n<p>However, the 24-year-old appears to be keen on a move to Real Madrid next summer, and previously told PSG that he would not be exercising an option to extend his deal, which currently runs until 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Movistar Plus, as per Football Espana,\u00a0Tebas has revealed his confidence over Mbappe switching to LaLiga next year.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/26\/16\/75854577-0-image-a-1_1695743137421.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>LaLiga president Javier Tebas is confident that Kylian Mbappe (right) will join Real Madrid<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/26\/16\/75854567-0-image-a-2_1695743165436.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Tebas said he is &#8217;70 or 80 per cent&#8217; sure that Mbappe will leave PSG for Real Madrid next year<\/p>\n<p>He said: &#8216;Convinced? Convinced, no, but it is destiny for him, for sure.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;A percentage (he thinks) that he will go to Real Madrid? I think that next year he will be at Real Madrid at more than 70 per cent or 80 per cent.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Mbappe was put up for sale and forced to train separately from his team-mates during the summer window, with the club fearing that he could leave for nothing next summer.<\/p>\n<p>But following talks, he returned to PSG&#8217;s first-team set-up, and has scored eight goals in six appearances this season.<\/p>\n<p>Reports have suggested that Mbappe could yet sign an extension until 2026 with the French giants.<\/p>\n<p>The deal would include a release clause for next summer that would allow Real Madrid the chance to sign the French superstar.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mbappe has scored 220 goals in 266 appearances since initially joining PSG on a loan in 2017 &#8211;
