Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted going absolutely berserk at the referee during Al-Nassr's win over Al-Ahli in the Saudi Pro League on Friday.

The 38-year-old, who bagged a brace to help his side seal a dramatic 4-3 victory, looked like he could have thrown a punch at the official after racing over to him to protest a decision in the second half. Bizarrely, he placed both arms behind his back and bowed his head before screeching abuse at the whistle man, who simply wagged his finger in Ronaldo's face and walked away.

The ex-Manchester United star's exasperated reaction was absolutely priceless, but entertainment factor aside, fans on social media were less than impressed. His antics were branded "unprofessional" and "rude", and one person even labelled him "the most dislikeable footballer on the planet".

"This is so unprofessional. He's so rude. Cant be my GOAT," one fan fumed on X (formerly Twitter). Another said: "How didn't he get booked for that? Disgusting behaviour."

A third added: "He's 38-years-old yet he's acting like a spoiled teenager," while a fourth commented: "He has got to be the most dislikeable footballer on the planet." A fifth agreed, writing: "So true. Why do people let him get away with stuff like this?"

Ignoring his childish tantrum it was a pretty good day at the office for Ronaldo. He opened the scoring after just four minutes with a low-driven strike from the corner of the box, though ex-Chelsea keeper Edouard Mendy's vision was impeded by a smoke cannister that had gone off in the home end.

Al-Nassr then doubled their lead through Talisca, before ex-Barcelona and AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie pulled one back for the visitors. Talisca then restored Al-Nassr's two goal lead in first-half stoppage time, before Manchester City icon Riyad Mahrez grabbed Al-Ahli's second goal from the penalty spot.

The time for talking is almost over as KSI and Tommy Fury will bury their rivarly once and for all as they face off in Manchester on Saturday, October 14th. Logan Paul will also be fighting at the event in front of what is expected to be a sell-out crowd. Get DAZN for £9.99 a month and the fight on PPV

Two minutes later, Ronaldo netted his second of the night, smashing the ball home from the edge of the box, but the home side's nerves were tested when Feras Albrikan pulled a goal back for Al-Ahli late on. But Al-Nassr held on to record their fifth-successive league win.

The result takes them up to fifth in the table, one point behind Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq side and three points behind league leaders Al-Ittihad. Ronaldo's goals, meanwhile, were his 14th and 15th of the season, and his 28th and 29th since joining Al-Nassr nine months ago.
