Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed the one player who caused him the most problems during his spell as Manchester United manger.<\/p>\n

Solskjaer was in charge of United between 2018 and 2021, winning 91 of his 168 games as boss with 37 draws and 40 defeats.<\/p>\n
United did not lift any silverware under the Norwegian, although he did lead the Red Devils to the Europa League final in the 2020-21 season as well as a runner-up finish in the Premier League.<\/p>\n
Solskjaer has now revealed that the player who gave him the most headaches as manager was former Liverpool star Roberto Firmino.<\/p>\n
\u2018In my last season, we played Liverpool at home,\u2019 the 50-year-old told The Athletic.<\/p>\n
\u2018I felt the players were ready for it, just like I\u2019d felt they were ready when we\u2019d gone to City and won. We could have sat back and countered but my decision was to go for it.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u2018We lost 5-0. It was 50\/50, more or less, in possession and chances at half-time, yet we were 4-0 down. <\/p>\n
\u2018I made the wrong decision and that was my lowest point as United manager by a mile.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u2018Roberto Firmino was probably the opposition player who caused me the most problems as a manager. <\/p>\n
\u2018The 6-1 defeat at home to Spurs was different and affected by a sending-off.\u2019<\/p>\n
