Manchester United cult hero Bastian Schweinsteiger posed with his gorgeous former tennisWAG Ana Ivanovic while soaking up the sun on holiday.<\/p>\n
Schweinsteiger married the former tennis world No.1 in July 2016 in a ceremony in Venice when the German midfielder was playing for United. And the sporting couple are still head over heels for each other after Ivanovic posted a series of pictures of the couple on holiday to her Instagram page that has 1.5million followers.<\/p>\n
Ivanovic first showed that retirement has had no impact on her physique, as she stunned in a white dress next to an infinity pool. She also shared pictures of her and hubby Basti on the beach as she posed in a navy bikini.<\/p>\n

The 2008 French Open winner\u2019s fans were quick to laud her stunning looks in the comments section, with one fan saying: \u201cThe ultimate in beauty and class personality.\u201d A second commented: \u201cYou are beautiful,\u201d whilst a third said: \u201cI love you Ana!\u201d<\/p>\n
Both sports stars have retired and are clearly enjoying the new found freedom they have away from their respective sporting schedules. Ivanovic announced her retirement in December 2016 at only 29 years old following a string of injury struggles that caused her to cut short her years on the court.<\/p>\n

While Schweinsteiger is a legend at Bayern Munich where he played 500 times and won the Bundesliga eight times between 2003 and 2015, also winning seven DFB-Pokals and the Champions League in 2013, earning him the nickname Fu\u00dfballgott (football god) by Bayern fans.<\/p>\n

Schweinsteiger left the Allianz Arena in 2015 and joined United in a \u00a36.5million deal which ultimately saw very little success for the German, apart from winning the FA Cup in 2016, following his years of triumph at Bayern and in the German national team where he racked up 121 appearances and won the World Cup in 2014.<\/p>\n
"Deutscher Fu\u00dfballmeister,\u201d as sung by the United fans, did endear himself to the Old Trafford faithful through his years of experience and his desire to reclaim a place back in the first team after he was dropped by Jose Mourinho and trained with the U23 team. Schweinsteiger joined MLS side Chicago Fire in 2017 and played 92 times before retiring in 2019.<\/p>\n
