Scotland and England clash this evening in a mouthwatering international friendly in Glasgow.<\/p>\n
The meeting between the old rivals has been designated as an 150th anniversary heritage match to mark the first ever international fixture played in the beautiful game.<\/p>\n
Scotland hosted the \u2018Auld Enemy\u2019 at the West of Scotland Cricket Club all the way back in 1872, with 4,000 fans in attendance to watch the two sides play out a goalless draw.<\/p>\n
Supporters of both sides will be keen to avoid a repeat of that scoreline, with Scotland and England having made light work of their Euro 2024 qualifying groups to date with qualification now a matter of when, not if, for both teams.<\/p>\n
England head into the 116th showdown between the pair with 48 wins to their name, Scotland with 41 and with 27 draws for good measure.<\/p>\n
