\u00a0Arsenal flop Nicolas Pepe is heading to Turkey to sign for Trabzonspor.<\/p>\n
The 28-year old joined Arsenal from Lille in 2019 for a then club record \u00a372million but has failed to make an impact and has been left without a squad number this season.<\/p>\n
Pepe still had one year left on contract but will be allowed to join Trabzon as a free agent after his deal was mutually cancelled on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Pepe was scheduled to fly to Turkey last night ahead of undergoing a medical on Friday morning.<\/p>\n
He has agreed a one year deal with Trabzonspor who are seventh in the Turkish Super Lig.<\/p>\n

Mail Sport revealed last week that the club were considering terminating his deal in north London, which they decided to go through with.<\/p>\n
Throughout his time in north London, Pepe made 112 appearances and managed 27 goals and 21 assists during that time.\u00a0<\/p>\n
His time at Arsenal will be remembered as a disappointing one after the high expectations that had been set for the at-the-time club record signing.<\/p>\n
Pepe had 37 goals in 79 appearances at Lille prior to moving to Arsenal, however failed to replicate such numbers with Mikel Arteta’s side.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
