Paige Spiranac swapped golf for tennis at the weekend as she headed to New York to watch the US Open.

She’s renowned as golf’s glamor girl but with a different major tournament in town, the 30-year-old refused to pass up the opportunity to see some elite sport at close quarters.

She shared a picture of herself at Arthur Ashes stadium and was taking in the matches on Saturday in a sun-soaked Big Apple.

Spiranac would have seen defending men’s champion Carlos Alcaraz advance into the quarterfinal while American Jessica Pegula beat Ukraine’s Elina Svitolina in three sets.

Those two are back in action on Monday – Alcaraz plays Italy’s Matteo Arnaldo while Pegula has an all-American matchup against Madison Keys.

Spiranac is best known for her golf game but has no secret of her love of other sports

Spiranac turned her hand to baseball recently – throwing the first pitch at a Brewers game

For Spiranac, while golf is very much her passion, she has never made any secret of her all-round love for other sports.

Back in June, she had the honor of throwing the first pitch for the Milwaukee Brewers against against Pittsburgh Pirates in Major League Baseball.

She had her own Brewers jersey and the No 22 on the back – while the Brewers themselves organized the moment with a tip of the hat for her ties to golf.

Spiranac had a caddie stood alongside the mound with a golf bag and a steward jokingly holding up a sign saying ‘quiet please’ before she took her throw at American Family Field.

Fans got a Spiranac bobblehead on the night as well, and the golf influencer took to social media to thank the Brewers for having her along.

But her first and main love is golf and Spiranac still makes it to the big tournaments – she shared a picture of herself at the Masters in Augusta, Georgia earlier this year.
