Ronda Rousey is pregnant and expecting first child with ex-UFC star husband Travis Browne after six years of dating – adding that there is “much more” to their story.
The former UFC Bantamweight Champion only recent discussed her desire to one day return to wrestling, having taken a hiatus from the promotion back in 2019.
Having been a decorated star in judo and winning bronze with the United States at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, ‘Rowdy’ earned fame during her UFC days.
Now 34, Rousey was promoted to UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion in 2012 and defended her belt on six separate occasions before defeats to Holly Holm and current double champ Amanda Nunes.
Rousey has dubbed her unborn child "the baddest baby on the planet” and revealed her due date.
Adding on Instagram: “It’s been quite a journey to get to this point.
“And we’re so excited to share with you all that Mr Browne and I are expecting the baddest baby on the planet Sept 22nd.
“There’s too much to tell in just one post, but for now here is a little recap of what we’ve been up to the last 4 months.”
Rousey and Browne began dating back in 2015 and were married two years later.
In a recent interview with Table Talk, Rousey addressed her time in WWE and discussed possible return in the future after starting a family.
She said: ”I actually waited until this moment to tell everybody. I don't know [when I'll return].
“When I feel like it. I'll come back when I feel like it. Eventually, when I feel like it.”
