Wolves vs Leeds LIVE: Latest score, goals and updates from Premier League fixture tonight

Wolves host Leeds United in tonight’s Premier League action to kick off the weekend.

It promises to be an interesting game, well, any game with Marcelo Bielsa’s side this season has been enjoyable for the neutrals, but Nuno’s side have regained their confidence with Neto grabbing the winner against Southampton. While Leeds showed their vulnerability in a heavy defeat to Arsenal last time out.

Nuno provided the positive update on Raul Jimenez returning to training following his fractured skull suffered playing against Arsenal: “He’s training, most of the sessions individually. He’s been able to integrate in some parts of training sessions, like technical exercises, so he’s getting better. He’s improving really well, we have to be very careful… but we’re keeping positive… (We are) missing him but knowing he’s going in the right direction, making the right steps and he’s recovering. He will keep improving his fitness, following the protocols, doing exams and consulting the neurosurgeon who operated on him, they’re the next steps. It requires patience.”

Leeds, currently 11th, can move up into the top half of the table with a win, while Wolves, in 12th heading into tonight’s match, can jump above their opponents if they take all three points.

Stay tuned for all the goal and score updates from Molineux, plus reaction and analysis throughout:

WOLVES 0-0 LEEDS (13’)

Leeds deal with another corner, but the hosts are just starting to assert themselves here.

WOLVES 0-0 LEEDS (12’)

Good save! A loose pass from Ayling gifts possession to Neto, who turns and curls a shot towards the top left corner from 25 yards out. It’s a superb effort, but Meslier flies to his right and pushes it away.

WOLVES 0-0 LEEDS (11’)

Neto’s corner is poor, easily headed away at the near post. The ball comes to Semedo, though, and he drills a shot straight at Meslier.

WOLVES 0-0 LEEDS (10’)

Jose wins the ball off Raphinha and accelerates away. He plays a through ball towards Traore, but Dallas does well to come across and knock the ball behind for a corner.

Traore fires off a speculative shot which cannons of Cooper, unfazed by the impact.

Klich is played in down the right and cuts back towards Roberts, who tries a dummy, with Raphinha waiting on the edge of the box. Neves reads it and intercepts.

Traore drives at the Leeds defence for the first time, jinking past a couple of players before finding Neto, whose cross from the right flank is too long. At the other end, Roberts surges into some space and slides through Bamford. Dendoncker comes across to block off the Leeds striker.

Some early, snappy possession from Leeds, which comes to an end when Semedo fouls Bamford. Raphinha whips the free kick into the box but it just evades the players in white at the back post.

Wolves get us underway!

The players make their way out at Molineux, greeted by a typically extravagant light show. Shame there are only about 30 people in the ground to see it.
